The best fashion spots in Sheffield from high street to second hand scores

Sheffield may be better known for its steel industry, exhausting hills, and stunning view of the Peak District, but it’s also becoming a hidden gem for fashion lovers. With a mix of independent vintage stores, established high-street brands and second-hand shops, the city is seeing an evolution in its retail scene (part of the reason i've started extreme budgeting).

As an avid shopaholic, I will guide you through some of the best fashion spots in the city you can't miss. Whether you’re a trendsetter or a bargain hunter these fashion destinations will take your wardrobe to the next level.

Starting off strong with my favourite vintage store of all time, Vulgar. Sometimes vintage shopping can be disappointing and become a failure of a treasure hunt, but when you step into Vulgar, nestled in the heart of Sheffield on Division Street, you will see that you won’t have that problem here. This vintage store is a must-visit for anyone seeking bold, alternative, and statement-making fashion. With its mix of cutting-edge streetwear, vintage-inspired pieces, and edgy accessories, Vulgar’s vintage charm will win you over and you’ll be fighting the urge not to splurge out and spend all your money (cue more much needed budgeting).

For another five-star fashion destination in the heart of the city, look no further than Good Good Vintage. This unique shop is a vintage lover’s paradise. Not only can you bag yourself a bargain from this quirky and stylish shop, but you can also get yourself a hot, delicious coffee to warm you up when hunting for hidden clothing treasures. Not only this, but their stock includes everything from vintage jackets, cute dresses, and retro sportswear to designer brands such as Diesel, Dolce and Gabbana, Burberry, and many more. The shop’s carefully curated aesthetic alongside its welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to lose track of time whilst you sift through racks of timeless gems.

When it comes to high-street shopping, Monki is a recent discovery of mine that has quickly become one of my favourites. A trendy, vibrant, and youthful fashion store that keeps up-to-date with the latest trends whilst catering to a variety of tastes. This is a must-visit in Sheffield. Its fun, bright, and feel-good pieces make Monki a perfect place to inject some personality into your wardrobe, at a reasonably affordable price.

Whether you’re on the hunt for vintage treasures, unique designer finds, or the latest high-street trends, Sheffield’s fashion scene has something for every style and budget.
