Liberty Belle's spring staples

Spring is in full swing! It’s time to ditch the winter puffers and put some life back into your

wardrobe. Judging by the spring/summer runway shows of our favourite designers, this

season’s fashion memo is ‘the brighter the better’, so we’ve gathered our favourite bold

clothing pieces to inspire your springtime shopping sprees.

Cargos

A single visit to Urban Outfitters is all it takes to confirm that cargos are the ‘it’ clothing staple of the season. Distinctive for their loose fit and chunky pockets, the garment first emerged on the fashion scene in the Y2K era and with the revival of noughties fashions this year, it’s little surprise that they have made a striking return. Cargos are available in a wide variety of designs and colours. From denim to polyester, khaki to cream, whatever your preferred style, there’s a pair of cargos with your name on them this spring.

Bright jumpsuits

Big night out planned this spring? Sheer jumpsuits are flattering and fierce enough for you to make an entrance. Popularised by the diamante-drenched designs of London-based label, Poster Girl, this look is available in both playful pinks and tantalising blues. It flaunts the ‘cut-out’ design that’s everywhere at the moment.

Skirt suits

If Chanel’s SS22 runway show is anything to judge by, the skirt suit is set to take this spring

by storm. The look was first popularised by 90s chick flicks like Clueless (remember Cher’s

iconic yellow gingham moment?) Reimagining traditional business wear, the nostalgic

two-piece design swaps uncomfortable trousers for a pleated or tweed skirt, making for a

coordinated look that’s chic and warm weather-approved; perfect for any smart/ casual event you have planned this season.

Hot pink boots

The recent fashion Instagram's of our favourite A-listers have confirmed that hot pink is the colour of the season. From Kim Kardashian to Zendaya, hot pink, high-legged boots are the playful, yet sexy, accessory that we can’t get enough of. Available in suede, leather, and

even snake print, the boots are perfect for those who want to make a statement this spring.
