Mini Uggs, flared leggings, and Jelly Cats are top of most of our Christmas lists this year. But if you are looking for some other ideas – some stocking fillers or just inspiration, look no further.

2023 saw the rise of the ‘clean girl’ makeup look and it is sticking around as a day-to-day staple look. Elf’s Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a perfect little gift if you or someone you know wants a light base. If you’re looking for a more expensive treat this year, Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter is another firm fan favourite, constantly trending on TikTok.

Another huge trending item, which is here to stay, is the liquid blush by Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty. This blush is known for its pigment, with a little going a very long way.

Rhode by Hailey Bieber and REFY Beauty have been leading the way for the perfect everyday lip gloss. Both have the perfect pinky and brown nudes.

Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake and Snatch Pressed Brightening and Setting Powder was another hot item among beauty influencers this year. The long-awaited formula was released only a few months ago but has been living up to expectations.

The Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Drops are almost always out of stock, and quite expensive. The Saie Glowy Super Gel is an amazing alternative if you or someone you know wants an added radiance to their makeup routine.

If you’re looking for new skincare additions, The Ordinary, Glow Recipe and The INKEY List have strong reviews and pretty packaging.

You can never go wrong with a new pair of trainers, whether it’s Sambas, Spezials, or another pair of New Balances, they are always good to have on your list.

Cute graphic baby tees are always a staple, In Print We Trust have been seen all over TikTok for their simple but quirky designs.

A new perfume is always useful, Maison Margiela’s perfume range Replica has a vast array of scents for men and women of all tastes. A more affordable choice would be Zara’s fragrance range which are often dupes of designer brands’ signature fragrances.

Of course comfort and warmth are essential this time of year – a fuzzy chunky scarf, ear muffs, knitted jumper or a cosy loungewear set are perfect to add to your list.

Pyjamas are always a festive necessity: Marks and Spencer have an array of chic but cosy PJs this year, and they are in high demand. You may have seen the teddy bear or heart print design (they are top of my list too!)

If you still want to keep your ears warm but cannot go anywhere without listening to music – overhead headphones. Not only do they look good but they are practical, whether it’s for the gym or library sessions, headphones are a must.

It is time for Santa and his elves to start shopping, there are some long Christmas lists to get through this year.
