Mariah Carey once said: “All I want for Christmas is… a selection of budget-friendly beauty advent calendars!” Okay, maybe she didn’t, but I’m sure we’d all be happy treating ourselves to a jam-packed (and affordable) assortment of beauty items for the countdown to Christmas. Even if you don’t celebrate the holiday itself, beauty advent calendars can be a great investment as some of the biggest brands offer bundles of their products at a fraction of the usual price. Here’s just a small selection of some of the most budget-friendly options out there:

The 24-day Pretty Little Thing calendar boasts well-known brand products such as the Morphe Make it Big Mini Mascara, an Illamasqua Lipstick, and a Sleek Makeup Lip Shot Lipgloss. This calendar is usually priced at £55, but currently has a limited time discount meaning you can purchase directly from their website for £33. Aside from that, the products inside are worth £204 so you’d still be saving money!

The Showtime Beauty Box is exclusive to Beauty Bay and offers £119 worth of products for £36 (as the site currently has 10% off). The box consists of 11 different items which include Vegan Synthetic Silk False Lashes, a full-size eyeshadow palette and a 12-piece eyeshadow brush set. While this is at the higher end of the list, the savings on it are great if you were looking to buy or replace similar products anyway.

Revolution Beauty’s calendar was £40 but is currently £32 due to the current Cyber November sales. According to the product details online, all items in the calendar are both vegan and cruelty-free (which they define as to not contain any animal-derived ingredients and is approved by PETA). The calendar has 25 days’ worth of products exclusive to Revolution Beauty, including lipsticks and glosses, eyeshadows, and palettes.

If you or somebody you know loves nail painting, this calendar could be perfect. The calendar is £30 and worth a total of £65. It contains a variety of products, including Gelly Hi Shine Nail paints and a Nail and Cuticle Oil. The calendar has twelve days’ worth of products so it’s great for anyone who doesn’t want to commit to the typical twenty-four.

Hopefully this selection of calendars has given you some insight into the more budget-friendly options available this Christmas.
