It’s finally time for you to be creative and experiment with glittery makeup looks for the Christmas period. Festive makeup is all about the sparkle and being bold!

The key to outstanding festive makeup is having a great eye design. The following low-budget looks can be easily achieved with the recommended products.

1. Glitter eye look achieved using the I Heart Revolution Chocolate Eye Shadow Palette - Turkish Delight - £6.29 (RRP £8.99)

If you want a colourful eyeshadow palette to match your Christmas outfit, this is the one for you. The variety of bad colours is perfect for festive looks. It has 13 shimmers and 5 mattes, from dark to light shades, including pink, green, nude and yellow-gold hues.

2. Pastel sparkle cat eye achieved using Revolution X Friends Joey Eyeshadow Palette - £5.60 (RRP £8.00)

The smaller, pastel version of the Turkish Delight palette is the Joey palette from the Revolution X Friends collection. Its compact size allows you to carry it out in your bag. Each colour has a Friends inspired name related to Joey Tribbiani which adds a super fun touch.

3. Christmas tree brows achieved using Dust & Dance Pastel Mix Biodegradable Glitter - £6.50

This beautiful mix of red and green glitters are made from plant cellulose, which is entirely eco-friendly and safe to use on your face, body and hair. Simply apply a thin layer of cosmetic glue or balm on your skin, then place the glitter where you desire. Dust & Dance also sell cosmetic glue for £2.50, but remember to soak the glitters with oil or water before removal.

Finally, you might want to add some fine glitters as highlight to complete the look. This cruelty-free and smudge-proof jelly glitter has four shades – gold, soft green, peacock teal and white opal. The white opal glitter, named Icy, contains star and moon pieces and is perfect for Christmas. Euphoria-inspired looks can be achieved using this too.
