Christmas gift guide for beauty lovers

It's finally looking a lot like Christmas, and it's now time to start buying and wrapping presents. Whether you’re buying for your Secret Santa, a family member, or a friend, finding presents can be super hard, especially if you're not into similar things.

If you need to buy your beauty lover friend a Christmas present but don’t know where to begin, here are my top products of the year – the perfect gifts for anyone into makeup and beauty.

1. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bombs

Rihanna's lipgloss has been one of the most raved about products over the last few years and it’s clear to see why. With its glossy but non-sticky shine, and the beautiful shade range, this lipgloss is a safe bet to give as a Christmas present. My favourite shade is ‘Fenty Glow’, a deep peach colour, guaranteed to suit all skin tones.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand

This cream blush broke records this year, with one of these products being sold every minute globally. Being a high-end makeup product, the price doesn’t reflect student loan budgets, which is why it’s the perfect gift for someone who may not be able to afford it.

3. Denman Brush

Move over Tangle Teezers, this brush is the next big thing. It is the best brush I have ever used! It untangles my knots with ease and aids with my curl pattern, making sure not to break up any curl forms. There are so many cool ways to use it to style your hair.

4. Olaplex

The price range varies depending on the product.

Olaplex is a brilliant – but brutally expensive – hair product line, with different products for different hair types and results. The price tag may put some people off buying it for themselves, but I can guarantee they’re on everybody's wishlist. One product I truly recommend is Olaplex No. 3. It rebuilds the bonds in your hair and repairs any breakages. It is especially helpful if you have dyed your hair recently and need something to help you mend your broken ends.

5. Juvias Place Eyeshadow Palette

The price range varies depending on the product.

Albeit a fairly cheap product, these eyeshadow products are a super good present due to the versatility. The colours are all extremely pigmented and apply smoothly to the eyelid, without any fear of fallout or obvious wear. There are plenty of palettes to suit any desired looks, whether you need plain neutrals or bright funky colours.
